On 7 July 2022, our College (CHCHE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Construction Industry Council (CIC) in the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding for Promoting BIM and Construction Digitalisation in Higher Education Institutions which was held at the Zero Carbon Park. The MOU was signed by Professor C.F. LEE (President of CHCHE) and Ir CHENG Ting-ning, Albert (Executive Director of CIC). Signing of the document was witnessed by Professor David LUNG (Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering of CHCHE) and Ir HO On-sing, Thomas (Chairman of CIC). Professor C.K. TANG (Vice President (Academic) of CHCHE) and Professor Peter LEE (Vice President (Administration) of CHCHE) also attended the ceremony together with Professor W.L. LO (Associate Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering of CHCHE), Professor Paul CHU (Head of Department of Architecture of CHCHE) and Professor Louis Lam (Head of Department of Civil Engineering of CHCHE).

This newly signed MOU is an update of another MOU signed in January 2018 between our College and CIC for expanding the scope of co-operation to include education in both Building Information Modelling and Construction Digitalisation technologies.
