Five students of the HKCHC Department of Journalism and Communication won two awards in the 2021 Campus News Awards hosted by the China Daily Hong Kong.

A team of three students (Jin Lin, Sang Tian and Lin Wenting) received second runner-up in the Chinese category for Best News Writing, while another team (Wong Man-ying and Chan I-lee) was awarded first runner-up in Best Short Video Reporting.

This annual event marked its 10th anniversary this year. There was a total of more than 700 entries from 54 universities of the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
