On 4 September 2026, Hong Kong Chu Hai College held its Undergraduate Orientation 2026/27, warmly welcoming a new cohort of students to the College community.

The orientation ceremony was attended by Prof. Hon S. Chan, Vice President (Academic and Research), together with Mr. Chen Xinfeng, Vice President (Administration), Prof. Robert Li, Associate Vice President (Academic and Research), and Mr. Xie Yilin, Registrar, who extended their congratulations and best wishes to the incoming students. 

In his welcome address, Prof. Chan warmly welcomed the new students to Hong Kong Chu Hai College and encouraged them to make the most of the opportunities for learning and personal growth that lie ahead. He remarked that college life marks an important new chapter, offering not only opportunities for intellectual exploration and personal development, but also a valuable journey of building friendships, broadening horizons, and discovering one's potential.

During the ceremony, representatives from various departments introduced the College's resources and support services, including the Library, Education Technology Services Office (ETSO), Registry, and Student Affairs Office (SAO), providing comprehensive support to help students adapt to campus life.

Following the ceremony, students participated in team-building activities and a campus tour. Through interactive games and visits to campus facilities, they gained a deeper understanding of the College while also having the opportunity to connect with fellow students from different disciplines.

Hong Kong Chu Hai College hopes that students will actively explore new possibilities, embrace challenges, and make full use of the resources and development opportunities available to them. The College wishes all students a fulfilling, inspiring, and enjoyable college experience.
