Time flies in a blink of an eye, and it’s time for graduation! On August 6, 2022, Chu Hai College just held its 72nd Commencement. A total of 382 students graduated from the College this year, including 241 Master's degree graduates and 141 Bachelor's degree graduates.

When College President Professor LEE Chack Fan delivered his speech, he mentioned, “Just like the harvest season for farmers who have been working hard on growing crops, today is a big harvest day for the students that commemorates the successful completion of studies.” Professor LEE also expressed that due to the epidemic, graduates have experienced many difficulties and inconveniences in their course of study. Yet, despite all the challenges, it is gratifying to see that they managed to complete their studies and graduate. Apart from the encouragement and guidance rendered by their teachers, they need to thank their family for their support and care all along. Last but not least, on behalf of all the teachers, Professor LEE wished the graduates all the best and a great future!

At the ceremony, the Master’s degree graduates were conferred by Ms ZHANG Jane, the College’s Governor, and the Bachelor degree students by the Vice-President (Academic) Professor Chiu Kay TANG. Professor LEE Chack Fan also presented the President’s List Award to students who excelled both in academic performance and character development.

The College arranged some giant photo frames to be available at the campus for the graduates and their families and friends posing themselves within the giant photo frames for snapshots before and after the ceremony. The Commencement successfully concluded in a jovial atmosphere. The College wishes the graduates would continue learning and working diligently after leaving the campus and to contribute to the society.
