The Department of Architecture is proud to announce our students obtained Champion and 4 Awards in the Construction Industry Council (CIC) Building Information Modelling (BIM) Competition!

Organized by CIC, the competition required students of different disciplines to design in a collaborative manner via BIM technology. This year, the competition called for the design of an Advancing Net Zero (ANZ) Hub in CIC-Zero Carbon Park (CIC-ZCP).

Participants teamed up, designed and shared information using BIM to redevelop the existing CIC-ZCP in Kowloon Bay in the 1st round of the competition. The shortlisted nine teams were required to modify their designs onsite within 12 hours, followed by a presentation to the judging panel on 12 Jun 2021. The Award Presentation Ceremony took place in the afternoon on 12 Jun 2021. We are excited to announce the following students were awarded Champion, 2nd Runner-up, 2 Merit Awards and Best Presentation Award (https://www.bim.cic.hk/en/events/page/award_ceremony_2021?back=%2fen%2fevents%2fpage%2fbim_competition_2021). The achievement was a continuous achievement under the leadership of our Assistant Professors Mr David FUNG and Mr Alvin KUNG. Once again, big congrats to all!
